Bid Policy

1. What a bid buys

A bid buys a paid position on the Number 1 Brand/Shop board you choose, for 7 days (168 hours) starting from the moment we confirm your payment, not from the moment you send it.

Your name, link and short description are shown with the amount you paid and a "Paid placement" label. The highest bid on a board ranks first.

No two live bids on a board can be the same amount. To rank above a bid, you must pay at least ৳1 more than it. If, when we confirm your payment, another live bid on your board already has the same amount, we will ask you to send at least ৳1 more before your bid goes live, or refund you in full if you prefer.

Anyone can bid more than you at any time, so your rank can change during your 7 days. Being outbid is part of how the board works and is not a reason for a refund.

A position is advertising space only. We do not promise any number of visitors, clicks, calls, followers or sales, and paying never changes how we check or show offers anywhere else on DiscountNearby.

2. Accepting this policy

You must accept this policy before the payment details are shown to you. When you send your payment, we record the policy version you accepted and the date and time, together with your payment details. If you do not agree, do not pay.

3. How to pay

Pay only by bKash, Nagad or Rocket "Send Money", or by bank transfer, to the numbers and account shown on our checkout page, then send us the transaction ID (TrxID). Money sent anywhere else has not been paid to DiscountNearby, and we cannot recover it.

Any charge your wallet or bank takes for sending money is yours. DiscountNearby will never ask for your PIN, OTP or card number.

4. How we confirm your payment

We confirm every payment ourselves, by finding the transaction ID, the amount and the number it came from in our own wallet or bank statement. A screenshot is not proof of payment.

We usually confirm within a few hours. If we cannot find a matching payment within 3 days, we will tell you, and the bid will not go live until it is found.

5. What can be shown

The name, link and description must be yours or ones you are allowed to promote, true, and legal in Bangladesh. We do not accept anything misleading or fake, scams, adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, hate, or links that harm visitors.

We check every bid before it goes live and may refuse it. If a link stops working or breaks these rules after it goes live, we may remove it.

6. When we refund

We refund the full amount we received, to the account it came from, within 7 days, if: (a) we refuse your bid before it goes live; (b) you cancel before it goes live; (c) we cannot confirm or place it for a reason on our side; or (d) you paid twice by mistake.

If you paid more than your bid, we refund the difference. If the site fails to show your position for more than 24 hours in a row during your 7 days because of a fault on our side, we refund those days, worked out day by day.

7. When we don't refund

Once your position has gone live, the payment is final. We don't refund because you were outbid, because the placement brought fewer visitors or sales than you hoped, because you changed your mind, or because your position was removed for breaking section 5.

We also can't refund money sent to a number or account that is not on our checkout page.

8. Questions and complaints

Contact us on WhatsApp or by email within 7 days of the problem, with your transaction ID. We keep payment records and will look into it and answer.

This policy is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Nothing in it takes away rights that the law gives you and that cannot be given up by agreement.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. A bid is always covered by the version its bidder accepted, which is shown at the top of this page.
